How to wear the Canadian Tuxedo...
My Canadian Tuxedo is a bit different than the true, blue Canadian Tuxedo (moose knuckle not included haha). My trick to making the denim on denim look work for me is always pairing different washes together. I have to break up the denim look with a lighter wash top and darker wash bottoms or vise versa. Maybe it is my shortness, but I cannot pull off matching denim washes. It just doesn't work on me, and I like the contrast of washes. It makes a statement by itself while also creating the perfect canvas for attention grabbing accessories or a bold shoe.
Like always, I suggest you dig deep in your closet for similar items to recreate this look before heading out to a store or shopping online. I bet you have them! Always Trust Your Closet, ladies and gents!
Thank you so so so much for stopping by!
p.s. This wonderful wall mural is brought to you by the Westport Animal Hospital. It is one of my favorite murals here in KC. <3 #walltraveled

Jumpsuits are so fun! Throw in some cold shoulders and this jumpsuit just became a party. Haha Anyway, it was hard to resist the urge to do this outfit up with some major pattern play, but I decided to keep the styling simple. Sometimes that's the best way to go. The black belt and silver shoes kept this look classic, while my patterned bag added some bold personalty.
I had all of these pieces in my closet, so be sure to check your closet for similar items before heading out on a shopping spree. If you don't have any similar items check my links above and below for shopping made super easy.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I appreciate each and everyone of your visits.

How amazing is this wall mural? The colors and the texture are so vibrant and inspiring. The street art and wall murals in Kansas City are incredibly creative. I could wander around around just admiring all of the art that graces the walls of KC. A lot of the murals I see around the city inspire my outfits, including this one. The colors and texture of this particular mural reminded me of the texture in this dress and I knew I had to shoot and share.
The wall is truly the star of this shoot. I would love to hear where you find inspiration for your creative outlets. Please share your inspirations in the comments below.
Thanks so very much for stopping by.
