I want to start out by stating that I am not a professional runner or work out addict. These are all my very own opinions on what I like and what works for me. With that being said, I LOVED these Ryka tennis shoes.
Good tennis shoes are hard to find. For me, they are either too bulky and heavy or too thin and fragile. The Ryka Nalu Women's Running Shoe is very supportive and offers just the right amount of external protection for my feet. I tend to wear my tennis shoes on and off the road, so actual foot protection is a big deal for me. And by off the road I mean hiking. Yes, I know there are actual hiking shoes out there, but I try to get multiple purposes out of my clothes and shoes. The exterior of these shoes protect very well against rocks and sticks while hiking and running. They are very supportive and offer some great colors options.
Ryka itself is a really cool company. It is a women's athletic shoe company that has/had women designing and making their shoes for over 25 years. Made for women by women. How cool is that concept?! I don't know why more people don't know about Ryka. Let's spread the word!
The next time you are ready for some new tennis shoes be sure to check out Ryka first, and show everyone that Women Run The World!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
A special thank you to Ryka for sponsoring this post.

Happy NEW YEAR everyone! This red poncho is taking me from fall right into winter (the same for my blanket capes and scarves). It is cozy, warm and cute! And super easy to style. I chose to pair it with leopard booties because I love me some pattern play. My everyday style typically include pattern on pattern outfits. Pattern play literally makes my day!
No Shop January Challenge: I advise you all to Trust Your Closet first and foremost, and I typically do the same, but I have had some major shopping sprees in 2015. I am kicking this year off with a shopping intervention. I have decided to dial back my shopping in 2016, and in order to do that, I have joined up with some lovely blogger babes from our Style Collective community to participate in a No Shop January Challenge. All of my posts this month [and maybe longer] will be me shopping from my own closet. I won't be making any clothing purchases this month. No if's, and's or but's about it. I am really looking forward to this challenge, and I hope you enjoy this as much as I know I am going to. I would love for you to join in on this challenge with me if you can Trust Your Closet enough...mine is a very trust worthy closet. haha
I am very excited for what 2016 has to offer, and I hope you all continue to take this journey with me. Thank you so much for stopping by and following along!
p.s. Follow along with my Style Collective blogger besties and myself over on Instagram (@trustyourcloset) for the No Shop January Challenge.

Well, I finally finished up my Christmas shopping this weekend. What a relief! I love to wrap presents, but sometimes bags make for a quicker and easier option. I found these cute bags at Paper Source on my lunch hour a few weeks ago and couldn't pass them up. I can't wait to deliver these cute bags to their special recipients. Are you a wrapper or a bagger? lol
As always, thank you for stopping by!

Style Collective Sparkle & Shine Style Challenge – Day 1: Fabulous Fur
Oscar de la Renta once said, “when you want to impact, wear red.” I just happen to agree with ODLR, and it might have something to do with my favorite color being red.
Red is definitely the color of the season and leopard is THE animal print staple in my closet, so what better way to show them off than by paring them together. This dynamic duo is always a head turner and attention grabber, especially during the holidays. Make that leopard a faux fur vest and you are golden!
I love the immediate put-together feeling that this combination delivers. Do you have red and leopard in your closet? If so, go throw it on and head out to your next holiday gathering. If you don’t, try leopard and green or deep purple and leopard. These color combos make great alternatives.
And as always, Trust Your Closet.
