I have been a skincare fanatic for quite sometime now. I worked in the beauty industry for five years. However, I haven't really been into the skincare services and treatment side of the business. Facials, Botox and body treatments never interested me much until I turned 30. I recently partnered up with Bare Med Spa here in the Kansas City area, and they have opened my eyes. I may have a new facial addiction thanks to Bare Med Spa.
Nikki Garey, a Bare Med Spa Esthetician, gave me my first facial. The super popular HydraFacial. It was a fantastic experience! I HIGHLY recommend this facial and Nikki. Nikki is very knowledgeable on the benefits of the facial, and the products and services that best suit your skin type. She is an expert with skin. She made me feel super comfortable with the process and future services.
Back to the HydraFacial. I have combination skin with dry cheeks, an oily t-zone and acne scarring. One of the great things about the HydraFacial is that it works for all skin types, even sensitive skin like mine. It was explained to me to be similar to microdermabrasion but with water, which made sense to me. According to barmedspa.com, the HydraFacial exfoliates dead skin cells and extracts impurities while it restores skin hydration that will enhance the overall health of your skin. This facial did absolutely that for my face. Afterwards my skin felt clean, smooth, surprisingly radiant and most importantly HYDRATED.
I have already scheduled my second HydraFacial (monthly procedures are recommended). We will be adding more services to the HydraFacial that are more specific to my skin issues next time. I cannot wait to share all of those details with you guys, so stay tuned!
Sincerely,
W
p.s. Bare Med Spa also provides spray tanning. I treated myself to one and definitely recommend this service to any and everyone (before and after pictured above). They use Norvell tanners (one of my faves). Ask for Lindsey. She is awesome!
